Rhoderick’s Overview
Rhoderick is a leadership advisor, systems thinker, and Founder of Astute Performance Consulting, where he helps operations leaders and risk and compliance partners align people, workflows, and operating norms to improve performance and reduce avoidable risk. With nearly 20 years across the public and private sectors, he has designed and led initiatives that have impacted more than 200,000 employees worldwide.
His career includes roles at Amazon, the U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Transit Administration, the United States Postal Service, and Capital One, as well as teaching in higher education. He also supported FTA transit safety efforts through PTASP-aligned Safety Management System workshops from 2018 to 2021 and again in 2024, helping agencies translate governance, risk routines, assurance, management of change, and reporting culture into day-to-day practice.
Dr. Ramsey’s expertise spans instructional design, program oversight, leadership development, and performance coaching, anchored in the belief that performance begins and ends with leadership. He is the creator of the KNOW Leadership Framework™, a practical model built on Knowledge, Network, Ownership, and Wisdom, used to strengthen leader capability and drive measurable results. Dr. Ramsey holds a Doctorate in Educational Psychology and Technology with a concentration in Instructional Systems Design.
